Our Mission is to Prepare Children for Life.
We are a private school, open 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., serving children 30 months to 6 years. Strategically located in the diverse City of Bellevue, we are an inclusive community of educators and staff who works along with you, parents and guardians, to lovingly prepare your child, for school and life.
Our Purpose
We are here to guide your child’s natural course of development. Inspired by Maria Montessori’s principles, our approach to early care and education is to:
- Support your child’s uniqueness and inner drive for curiosity, exploration, discovery, and a joy for learning.
- Create and prepare learning environments that are safe, nurturing, with an extensive range of knowledge for mastery of skills and concepts.

What We Offer
Montessori International School of Bellevue is a busy and exciting learning environment designed to meet the needs of the toddler and preschool aged children. We encourage your children to explore a wide variety of age-appropriate, hands-on activities; at their own pace.
We believe that children grow and learn in a warm, nurturing, and well-organized environment. Our teachers are sensitive and respectful to each child’s individuality and encourage each child to develop joyful confidence with which to explore our continually changing world. We welcome a multicultural community of families and are committed to supporting this diversity in all areas of our early childhood program.

We are very happy with Montessori International School of Bellevue. Our son started going there when he was 18 months old. This was his first experience outside of home and as every kid at this age he was a little afraid in the beginning, but Ms. Doo Hee and the other teachers were so kind and welcoming that he soon started loving it. During his time there, he has learned a ton, and made many new friends. The teachers have created a carefully crafted curriculum with age appropriate Montessori activities, fun craft projects and time to play outside. We also appreciate that they have some of the longest operating hours compared to other Montessori schools with full day from 8:30am to 6pm which is a huge help for working parents. Their new site also has a wonderful playground with awesome big toys, a garden and a fun sandbox which our son loves. Thank you very much Ms Doo Hee, Ms Swetha, Ms Amber and Dr. Maryann Johnston!
